Otter Cottage

Llyn Peninsula

Welcome to Otter Cottage

A dreamy riverside cottage.

Otter Cottage creates its own magic, tucked as it is in a hidden valley flanked by ancient beech woods, this a place of quiet seclusion broken only by the babbling of its small river as it tumbles over stepping stones.

What our guests say

You have a charming cottage in an idyllic spot, we could not have been luckier to find this lovely place. A haven for wildlife, my family enjoyed watching the nesting swallows fledge, sketching the picture postcard bridge and many walks both local and a little further afield. We would highly recommend the walk up Cnicht, not as busy or long as the climb up better known mountains and with stunning landscapes and views. Also the much shorter stroll along the coast at Porthdinllaen for a pint at the Ty Coch! Would advise booking ahead in summer months for local activities and restaurants if you are able, but there was certainly no shortage of things to do, and the cottage kitchen was well equipped and practical.

Chris was helpful at every turn, as were the locals we met during our stay. Hoping to return.

We arrived this evening after a long but stunning journey.  The Otter was a very welcome sight and there was a falcon on the paddock as we drove over the bridge!

It really is a beautiful location, and we feel very at home already.  We’re already wondering if you’d have availability in January for my birthday week!

Kind Regards.

We are having the most idyllic time at Otter Cottage, we’ve barely left as it is so perfect for what we needed. I’m still griping about the fact that we need to leave tomorrow to get back to start of term on Thursday! But I fear we better had. I think you said kindly that check-out time wasn’t hugely pressing given you didn’t have anyone coming to immediately taking over from us.

Many thanks indeed.
